Solanum dulcamera,
Black names in simplistic
Botanies, foetid hellebores,
Fragile delineations of digitalis
Imperfectly hand-coloured
Between erroneous
Taxonomic jottings, old nasties
Seeming sinful in exciting ways
In old books.  Not serious like
Unpronounceable synthetics?
Ha, Ha, hell and healing,
Mixture as usual,
Everlasting stink of poppies!
